Label-loving ladies listen up!
Super-luxe fashion brand DKNY has launched a new lounge-wear collection at Oli.co.uk. The collection features tunics, tops, hooded jackets and lounge pants by Donna Karan of DKNY, all of them showcasing off-duty cool at its finest… Perfect for those lazy sunday afternoons!
Busy times here at Fashion Towers for the Oli.co.uk ladies! Not only are we hard at work (as usual) bringing you the latest fashion from around the world, but we’ve also found the time to squeeze in a quick trip to the Cosmopolitan blog awards launch in London!
One of our favourite style icons, Cheryl Cole is 27 today. We’ve featured Miss Tweedy-to-be in so many of our fashion editorials that we only thought it was right to take the time to say “happy birthday, Chezza”! She’s come a long, looooong way in the style stakes since those early days of Girls Aloud:
It’s always exciting launching fabulous new items on our site, but we’re particularly excited to announce the addition of a brand new label to the Oli.co.uk brands family… True Decadence.
For us, festivals are about three things… blazing sunshine (hopefully), brilliant music and fabulous fashion.
For those of you lucky enough to be heading to Glastonbury this weekend, here are a few last minute extras that you might want to pack. If (like us!) you’re a bit adverse to all the mud and camping, then why not listen to the festival on the radio from the comfort of the park or garden? You can still dress the part! Just click the link below to shop all festival fashion, including shades, converse, maxi dresses and more.
We love, love, love spotting Celebs wearing clothes from Oli.co.uk! And when it’s one of our fave acts, we’re even more excited to see how fabulous they look. Girl supergroup The Saturdays took to the stage at the Isle of Wight Festival wearing boutique label Traffic People.
They all look fab and normally Frankie Sandford wins in the style stakes, but this time our fave outfit is Vanessa’s super-cute playsuit, perfect for girlie nights out on the dancefloor!
You can get Vanessa White’s exact playsuit at Oli.co.uk, it’s by Traffic People and is £62. Just click the image below to buy:
Celeb festival style without the VIP price tag, love it! Are you going to a festival this year?

We’ve always been firm believers that music and fashion go hand in hand. So when we got the chance to interview Neev, a DJ for Kiss FM and general fabulous lady, we jumped at the chance to chat to her about her top tips for summer tunes and summer style. Here’s what Neev had to say when we caught up with her at Graduate Fashion Week in London. Neev wore the love heart print dress by cult fashion label Closet - exlusive to Oli.co.uk online, click the image below to buy:
What’s a typical day in the life of a DJ?
Well, as I’m a radio DJ I have to be in Kiss daily for my show. I wake up early and hit the gym on a massive fitness quest for the summer at the mo. Then I head over to kiss towers to record Voice Overs for the station and pre-record the Showbiz news which runs throughout that day. I then start my show at 12pm and I’m on air until 3pm. The show is really upbeat with loads of funny stories and competitions. I finish my show and continue doing a few voice overs then I start a bit of prep for the next day. I’m usually out of Kiss by 4pm then I DJ at various events do some hosting or if I’m lucky get to check out a new film.
Are you playing any big gigs/festivals/Ibiza clubs this year?
I’m playing out in Ibiza at a massive gig there – I cannot wait! I played there a few years ago too for Ministry of sound. I’m doing a live show from Wireless Festival this year which is going to be awesome. I’m DJing all around London this summer as always. I have a big gig this week as I’m Djing for Graduate Fashion week’s Gala show.

Graduate Fashion Week
Which ones are you most looking forward to and why?
Ibiza I think, because it’s just such a pleasure to play out there. The atmosphere is electric and you can push the music a bit harder. I love playing in my London town though so all of the summer gigs are going to be fun
What’s your favourite outfit to wear whilst DJing?
I love to wear a little dress or a really cool vest with some wicked chunky jewellery. You only really see me from the waist up so it’s all about something a bit colourful and girlie. Shoes wise I have to be careful with high heels as I usually DJ for 2 -3 hours so you can imagine how much your feet hurt when you bounce about for that length of time! Oli gave me the most amazing wedges which I’m wearing for my big Graduate Fashion Week gig and they’re perfect for my gigs.
Who are your favourite artists/acts/songs to play at the moment?
I’m really into Usher’s new stuff I think I have fallen in love with his tune ‘OMG’. I’m also a big Dance follower so I love what the Swedish House Mafia is doing right now. Their tune ‘Leave the world behind you’ is epic. It still takes my breath away when I hear it I can’t wait to play it in Ibiza. I like the R’n’B that comes over from the states in time for summer too like Young Money’s song ‘Bedrock’. I could carry on and on and on…!
Who’s style do you admire in music at the moment?
I really admire Rhianna. She’s so stunning and she’s daring too. She pushes the boundaries of what a typical R’n’B singer normally wears. There’s more to her than just that typical ‘video girl’ look. And have you seen her new red hair… I mean, wow!
You recently wore Oli.co.uk clothing on an Asian Woman photo shoot – which were your favourite outfits?
It was so hard to pick ones to wear as they were all gorgeous. I went for the flowery dresses and more glam numbers in the end. The wedges I wore that day were gorgeous and I was amazed at how stylish and comfortable they were.
What’s your favourite item on the Oli.co.uk website at the moment?
I think I like the Fever Maxi Dress the most because of the gorgeous coloured stripes on it. I want to wear it to Wireless Festival – it’s so lovely and summery. Click the image below to buy:
What’re your top style tips for summer?
Make sure your feet are ready for the outside world if you stick them in sheep skin boots like Emus for half the year! They are going to need a pedicure badly! Make sure you wear SPF even on your face as the sun here is hotter than you think. If you are on a fitness quest to get that Bikini body then follow my Blog on Kiss as I’m testing out loads of stuff.

It’s the event that launched the careers of some of the cream of British fashion talent, with Stella McCartney and Christopher Kane both being former protégés of Graduate Fashion week . The event showcases the designs of over a thousand students from 35 different fashion colleges from throughout the UK.
We know our fashion-forward readers love a bit of industry goss, so we’re bringing you all the latest news from Graduate Fashion Week which kicked off in London last night. There’s already been some real design talent showcased and it’s only day three of the event!
Ones to watch…
Stephanie Hemphill
We loved Stephanie’s use of a softer colour palette in her bodycon dresses. Mixing nude pinks and smoky greys, she moved this season’s hottest colour trend on into AW10. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this East London student.
Bunmi Olaye
Olaye’s collection has already drawn attention from the celeb circuit, with Mischa Barton and Mel B already on her client list. The collection featured lots of geometric prints with a strong African influence – perfect for working the tribal trend.
We love being the first to find out about home-grown fashion talent and that’s what our Oli Fusion collection is all about, bringing you the hottest designer names and exclusive, wearable and affordable collections. Our Oli Fusion collaborations with Olivia Rubin, Sinha Stanic and Poltock and Walsh are all great examples of this. Click the image below to shop all Oli Fusion.

Fashionista and all round presenter extraordinaire Gemma Cairney was spreading the love for Wedge Wellies this weekend. Gemma does the ‘Top of the Shops’ slots of Jo Wiley’s weekend show on BBC Radio 1 as well as presenting Frock Me on Channel 4, so her fashion credentials are pretty solid! Here’s Gemma trying on Wedge Wellies in the Radio 1Xtra office:

The mock-croc ones that Gemma is wearing in the picture are a dead-ringer for the ones seen on the catwalk at Jimmy Choo, but at £37 they’re a lot more affordable! Just click the link below to buy them:
They’re definitely the footwear to be seen in this season at festivals (or even if you’re just out for a walk and the good old British summer has turned the fields to mud… again!). Not only do they look great and come in on-trend mock-croc, pink, black and houndtooth prints, but they’ve also got a gorgeous wedge built in which will give you a bit of a lift: essential when you’re in a crowd at Glasto trying to get the best view of the band! Get those shades out, girlies!
Wherever you are, I hope that whilst you’re reading this you’ve got one eye on your screen and one eye roaming out of the window, taking in the lush summer afternoon unfolding in front of us. This weekend looks set to be one of those classic British golden summer ones, jam-packed with BBQs, sundresses, trips to the park and ice cream (hurrah!). And it wouldn’t be complete without a pair of super-chic sunglasses to make sure you look cool even when it’s hot, hot, hot!
Today, we’re loving Marina Diamandis from Marina and the Diamonds and queen of the fashion nutters (in a good way of course), Lady Gaga. Their quirky style never fails to leave an impression. Sometimes we think the world is so serious about looking good that they forget that fashion should be fun! So, whilst we won’t necessarily be rushing out to buy stick on butterflies, spiky sunnies and a piano-key scarf, we’re still loving their work!
You can still get super-star style without being too kooky, though. We love, love, love these butterfly sunglasses which are a dead-ringer from those seen on the Prada Catwalks and are just £12. Click the image below to buy them:
Sunglasses, sunnies, shades… Call them what you will, there’s no denying that they’re a summer staple. We’ve got all kinds of glasses in stock at Oli.co.uk, from Cheryl Cole and Carrie Bradshaw inspired aviators to oversized Victoria Beckham style sunnies and even super-hot designer sunglasses. Just click here to take a look at them all!
Have a fabulous weekend, shady ladies!
